Renee Ambush is a powerhouse of resilience, healing, and unapologetic truth. As the visionary behind Destiny Over Drama Radio Network, Renee brings over 30 years of experience as a Impartation Strategist, ordained minister, trauma-informed coach, and creative powerhouse.
A mother of three and proud adoptive parent to her granddaughter, Renee has transformed a life shaped by trauma — including childhood abuse, teen pregnancy, domestic violence, and homelessness — into a legacy of empowerment. Her lived experiences are the foundation of her life’s work: Helping others turn pain into purpose.
Renee is also an award-winning filmmaker (Paralyzed, A Better Baltimore, Crisis Call), a gospel recording artist with Grammy consideration, and a three-time Amazon Best-Selling author. Across every platform — from podcasts to prayer corners — she uses storytelling, music, and ministry to reach those who feel unseen, unheard, or unloved.
As the creator of the transformative “Out The Box” healing experiences and a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator, Renee continues to inspire audiences around the world.
Through D.O.D., Renee merges her experience in media, music, ministry, and mental health to build a beacon for those who feel unheard or unseen.
